Judge Garcia will be discussing the state of the Judicial Court and the issues that face St. Tammany Parish on a daily basis. Judge Peter Garcia was elected to Division "D" of the Twenty-Second Judicial Court for the Parishes of St. Tammany and Washington in the fall of 1996 and re-elected without opposition in the Fall of 2002, and again in 2008. Judge Garcia started one of the first drug courts in the State of Louisiana in 1998. In 2002, the 22nd Judicial District Drug Court was named one of 16 mentor courts to train courts across the country in the implementation of drug courts.
