Doug attended Louisiana State University on a full athletic scholarship where he played basketball under Coach Dale Brown. During his time at LSU\, Saylor established the record for most assists in a single game as well as graduating in 1978 with his Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies. In 1998\, Doug received his Masters in Education with a focus in Exercise Physiology from the University of New Orleans and has been an NCAA certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) since 1999. Along with 9 years of teaching experience in the St. Tammany Parish public school system\, Doug has also worked with and trained top high school\, college\, and professional basketball players such as Greg Monroe of Georgetown\, Tasmin Mitchell of LSU\, and P.J. Brown of the Hornets.Jaeson Maravich\, son of the late “Pistol Pete” Maravich\, has been named the new Head Trainer and Player Development Specialist. Jaeson is a former player and graduate of St. Paul High School in Covington as well as William Carey College in Hattiesburg\, Mississippi. During his college career\, which also included stints at Alabama\, Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College\, and McNeese State. Maravich was a three-time All American\, averaged over 25 points per game\, and was the only NAIA player invited to the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament for the Top 50 Seniors in the country. Since college\, he has had multiple tryout invitations from various NBA teams.
