SUMMARY:Cultural Economy Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:The 2012 Cultural Economy Luncheon\, sponsored by St. Tammany Parish Hospital\, will feature Chef Susan Spicer for a cooking demonstration and book signing. Susan has been the guest chef at The James Beard House\, The Oriental Hotel in Bangkok\, the Lanesborough in London\, Cunard and Crystal Cruise Lines\, as well as appearing on local and national television. In May of 2010 Susan was inducted into the James Beard Who's Who of Food and Beverage in America. Her new restaurant\, MONDO\, a casual\, family style restaurant\, opened in June of 2010 in Chef Spicer's neighborhood of Lakeview.\n\n\n\nMenu will feature:\n\n	\n		Spring Mix with Arugula\, Goat Cheese\, Candied Pecans with Champagne Vinaigrette (prepared by Lakeshore High School ProStart students)\n	\n		Freshly Baked Assortment of Breads (prepared by Mandeville High School ProStart students)\n	\n		Ashley's Pickled Shrimp with Egg Salad Crouton (tasting prepared by Chef Susan Spicer)\n	\n		Yellow-Eyed Snapper with Meuniere Sauce served with Yukon gold and Fennel Gratin Potatoes and Ratatouille (prepared by Executive Chef Martin Klier of Tchefuncta Country Club)\n	\n		Buttermilk Panna Cotta with Fresh Berries and Praline Crunch (prepared by Fontainebleau High School ProStart students)\n\nLuncheon will also feature:\n\n	\n		Local artwork from the St. Tammany Parish Hospital's Healing Arts Initiative\n	\n		Salads\, breads and desserts prepared by ProStart culinary students from Lakeshore High\, Mandeville High and Fontainebleau High Schools\n	\n		Music by Fontainebleau High School music program\n\nSponsored by:
