The support group will be hosted by Barbara Clinton\, Certified Alzheimer's Educator\, CAEd (NCBAC   National Certification Board for Alzheimer's Care) with Tandem Clinical Research\, and seeks to provide a place of education\, empathy\, and shared experiences for caregivers\, loved ones\, and those interested with the challenges of Alzheimer's/Dementia disease.\n\n"Alzheimer's disease is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder that affects millions of people worldwide\, impacting not only those diagnosed but also their families and caregivers\," explained Kristen Clinton\, a nurse practitioner at Tandem and part of the support group team. "Recognizing the need for a localized support system\, the Memory Matters support group was created to offer a safe space for individuals to share their stories\, exchange practical advice\, and find emotional support.
