DESCRIPTION:Join Us to Celebrate the Next Generation of Civic Leaders!\n\n\n\nWe are excited to host the 2026 National Civics Bee  Regional Competition in St. Tammany! Students in grades 6 to 8 from southeast Louisiana submitted essays sharing their ideas for improving their communities\, and the top finalists have been invited to compete live.\n\n\n\nJoin us to cheer on these talented students as they test their civics knowledge and compete for the chance to advance to the state and national levels. During this exciting evening\, finalists will participate in a fast-paced quiz competition and live judging round\, demonstrating their knowledge of civics.\n\n\n\nChamber members\, families\, teachers\, classmates and community members are all welcome come celebrate student leadership\, civic learning and community pride!\n\n\n\nRegional First Place Prize: $500\n\nRegional Second Place Prize: $250\n\nRegional Third Place Prize: $125\n\n\n\nRegional Finalists will move on to the Louisiana State Competition.
