About Us

Rainbow provides a quality child care program to low income working families and families in crisis in the Greater Slidell Area with rates based on income. It's a non-profit, United Way Partner Agency serving children between the ages of 1-5, since 1983. The mission is to strengthen working families with a quality child care program. Rainbow has a Social Enterprise called My Girlfriend's Closet, it's a ladies re-sale boutique, 100% volunteer run and the proceeds benefit the center. Rainbow provides early learning opportunities and prepares kids for kindergarten while preparing parents for parenting through workshops designed to meet the needs of the families served. Rainbow is building strong families and strong families build strong communities!
