For over 75 years, Easterseals Louisiana has been a cornerstone of community resilience, dedicated to ensuring that children and adults with disabilities—and their families—can live, learn, work, and play as full participants in our state’s economy. Serving over 12,000 individuals annually across 45 parishes, we are not just a service provider; we are a strategic partner in Louisiana’s growth.


Our Impact on the Local Business Landscape:

Workforce Development: Through our Vocational Rehabilitation and Pre-Employment Transition services, we bridge the ''talent gap'' by preparing students and adults with disabilities for competitive, integrated employment. We help local businesses tap into a diverse, loyal, and skilled workforce.

Support Coordination & Independence: We manage person-centered care for thousands of individuals, providing the support systems (housing, behavioral health, and early intervention) that allow caregivers to remain active and productive members of the workforce.

Community Health & Stability: By providing crisis intervention and mental health services, we reduce the burden on local emergency systems and promote a more stable, healthy environment for all residents and businesses.

Early Intervention: Our ''EarlySteps'' programs ensure that Louisiana’s youngest citizens receive the developmental support needed to succeed in school and, eventually, in the professional world.
