Resurge Veterinary Surgical Specialists & Rehabilitation LLC is a small animal surgery and rehabilitation veterinary referral practice located in Covington, La. Local owner and medical director, Dena Lodato, DVM, MS, DACVS, CCRP, has been practicing in the gulf coast region since 2010, and she’s certified in pain management and canine physical rehabilitation. Her areas of interest are stifle disease, fracture management, intervertebral disc disease, pain management, regenerative and rehabilitative medicine. She prides herself in client communication and follows her patients through the entire process from surgery through recovery.

The practice is fully equipped with state of the art imaging and therapeutic equipment designed to help diagnose and treat patients with both chronic and acute injuries needing either surgery, physical therapy, or a combination of the two.

Services include detailed surgery and rehabilitation consultation, post-operative medical boarding with 24/7 ICU support, class IV laser therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and underwater treadmill and dry room exercise and conditioning sessions led by one of our certified canine rehabilitation practitioners.
