Kevin Middleton
I attended PJP High School in Slidell and SLU in Hammond. After my first year in college, I decided to join the Louisiana National Guard to help pay for college and serve my country and state at the same time. I enlisted in 1995, and was selected to attend Officer Candidate School. I was commissioned as an Engineering Officer in August 2001, beginning my commissioned service. I graduated from SLU in December of 2002 with a degree in Business Management. In May 2003, I deployed to Operation Enduring Freedom as a Construction Officer. Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, my active duty service began. I served in various roles at the Company, Battalion and Joint Staff levels, retiring in August 2023 as a Lieutenant Colonel with 27+ years of service. I opened Shingle to Slab Home Inspections in late 2024. I am married, my wife Jasmine and I have two children, Devin and Darby.
