Sweet Rose Cafe, LLC is an inclusive, community-centered coffee and dessert café founded by Michele and Michael Trosclair on the Northshore of Louisiana. Inspired by their daughter Maggie Rose and built on the belief that “community is unity,” Sweet Rose Cafe combines handcrafted coffee, specialty beverages, gelato, and meaningful social impact to create a welcoming space for all individuals and families.

Sweet Rose Cafe began as a mobile coffee business serving local farmers markets, festivals, schools, churches, weddings, and community events throughout St. Tammany Parish. The business specializes in handcrafted espresso drinks, cold brew beverages, seasonal specialty lattes, dirty sodas, frappes, affogatos, gelato, and sorbet, while emphasizing high-quality ingredients and exceptional customer service.

What makes Sweet Rose Cafe unique is its mission-driven model of inclusive employment and workforce development for young adults with mild to moderate disabilities. Through intentional training, mentorship, and supportive employment opportunities, the café seeks to create a workplace where individuals of all abilities can develop confidence, job skills, and community connections in a positive and encouraging environment.

The future storefront location will expand Sweet Rose Cafe’s offerings into a full-service café experience featuring specialty coffee beverages, light café items, desserts, community gathering space, private events, and partnerships with local organizations.
