The Hospice Foundation's Crawfish Cookoff, one of St. Tammany's biggest, is an all-you-can-eat event with 60 teams boiling crawfish to compete for the title "Best Tasting Crawfish," juried by a panel of celebrity judges. Over 45,000 lbs. of crawfish will be boiled.
This year's event features live music by:
Christian Serpas and Ghost Town - 11-1:00
The TopCats - 1:30-3:30
The Boogie Men - 4:00-6:00
Also featuring:
* Awards & Prizes for Best Tasting Crawfish & Best Decorated Booth
* Hamburgers, hot dogs, soft drinks, beer and other refreshments will be available for purchase.
Ticket donations are $35 in advance at Northshore Whitney Banks or $40 at the gate. Kids 10 and under are $10 in advance or $15.00 at the gate. The event is all the crawfish you can eat (crawfish boiled till 5:00pm). All crawfish must be consumed on premises.
Tickets may be purchased at Northshore Whitney Banks as the event nears.
Pets, ice chests, tents, tables and alcohol are not permitted. Beverages and other food will be available for purchase.
Proceeds directly benefit The Hospice Foundation of the South’s Hospice House. The first and only hospice house in St. Tammany Parish.
