"Brushes & Bubbles" -- A Partake Event

We are now taking reservations for “Brushes & Bubbles” on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 6:30pm at Middendorf’s Slidell… 

CREATE:  This is a different kind of Partake Event for us because it’s not only about fine food and wine, but it’s also about embracing the artist within.  Guests will paint their very own masterpieces throughout the evening.  No experience needed. We’ll have some expertise on hand to guide you through the creative process – Lorraine Streckfus, a lover of art who also happens to have a handy degree in art. Lorraine will be pulling double duty because she’s also in charge of the evening’s libations. 

DRINK:  It’s all about the bubbly!  Lorraine Streckfus from Constellation Brands will showcase a fun selection of wines that are sparkling, refreshing and sure to make it a great night.  Constellation Brands is a leading international producer of beer, wine and spirits with operations in the U.S., Mexico, New Zealand and Italy.

EAT:  Since guests will be painting while they eat and drink, European Master Chef Horst Pfeifer will design a series of small plates.  The food will still be gourmet, scrumptious and make life worth living – it will just be easier to eat and fit into our artist’s mini “studios.”

Chef Pfeifer is the current Owner of Middendorf’s and the Former Owner of Bella Luna, a very popular fine dining restaurant in the French Quarter.  He absolutely loves the art of cooking, and he is looking forward to presenting his special “Brushes & Bubbles” menu.

We hope you can join us for a fun and creative night of food, bubbly and painting. Plus, you’ll have a fabulous masterpiece to take home, admire and impress your friends!

• The evening begins at 6:30pm in the “Bella Luna” private dining room. Our welcome drink will be served at this time.  Feel free to walk around and mingle.
• At 7:00pm, we will ask for everyone to be seated. Dinner will begin shortly.
• Seating is banquet style.  This is a social event celebrating our shared love of food and wine.
• Attire is casual.  Don’t forget, you’re going to be painting!
• The price for this Wine Tasting Dinner is 100.00 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity)*.
