Join us for our beginner-level patents and trademarks workshop, presented by LSU Librarian and Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) representative, Kendall Caple. This session will introduce the basics of IP, including how patents protect inventions and how trademarks safeguard brand identity. Participants will learn how to conduct simple patent and trademark searches, navigate free research tools, and identify reliable resources for getting started.
