Join us for our annual Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI) luncheon where Stephen Waguespack will discuss priorities to keep the economic growth going in Louisiana and also address the threats because of the state's budget deficit. In a recent article, he stated, "Despite our unprecedented potential that has fueled such a positive outlook for our economy, the focus of the Capitol will be more on the public sector budget challenges rather than the unlimited opportunity of our private sector economy." Louisiana once again finds itself at a fork in the road and while in the past we may have taken the shortcut, Waguespack believes this time we should take the more complex, challenging road for greater long term potential.
