Tim Temple was elected Louisiana Commissioner of Insurance in 2023. He worked in the insurance sector for more than two decades and is dedicated to leveraging his extensive industry experience to shape a regulatory and statutory environment that not only ensures competitiveness, but also enhances the attractiveness of Louisiana's insurance market.
As the state's top insurance official, Tim is committed to protecting the interests of policyholders while promoting a flourishing insurance market that benefits all residents and businesses in the great state of Louisiana.

About Kirk Talbot
Kirk Talbot represents Louisiana Senate District 10 and serves as Chairman of the Senate Insurance Committee. Elected to the Senate in 2019 after 12 years in the Louisiana House of Representatives, Senator Talbot brings extensive legislative experience to the state's insurance issues.
In addition to his role as Chairman, Senator Talbot serves on the boards of several organizations focused on property and casualty insurance, including Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corporation and the Property Insurance Association of Louisiana. His leadership and experience provide a valuable legislative perspective on Louisiana's insurance market and the efforts to strengthen it.
