The event will be held at Benedict’s Plantation in Mandeville on Sunday, September 13, 2026. We are excited to bring together local businesses, community leaders, and supporters for an inspiring event that celebrates the strength of families and the importance of investing in early childhood education.

At the heart of our mission is a commitment to empowering families by ensuring that every child has access to high-quality early care and education from birth through age four. The St. Tammany Early Childhood Ready Start Network works to ensure that children enter kindergarten ready to learn while also supporting early childhood
educators with the tools and resources needed to provide nurturing, high-quality learning environments.

Proceeds provide tuition assistance for disadvantaged children, giving parents access to reliable, high-quality child care so they can work, pursue education, and achieve greater economic stability. The need is significant. According to the 2023 United Way ALICE Report, 34% of households with children in St. Tammany Parish live at or below the ALICE threshold, struggling to afford basic necessities such as housing, food, transportation, and child care. For these families, access to affordable child care is often the difference between surviving and thriving. Your support helps remove this critical barrier, empowering parents, strengthening our workforce, and creating brighter futures for children throughout our community.
