As a kick off to National Small Business Week (May 12-16), SBA District Director for Louisiana Michael Ricks will speak at a joint breakfast of the Northshore Rising Professionals and the Small Business Council. Each year the SBA recognizes the critical contributions of America's entrepreneurs and small business owners, as more than half of Americans either own or work for a small business, and they create about two out of every three new jobs in the U.S. each year.
