Representative Gallot currently serves as Chairman of the House and Governmental Affairs Committee and serves on the House Executive Committee.  Representative Gallot served as Co-chair of the Redistricting and Elections Committee of the National Conference of State Legislatures and will chair the 2011 redistricting for the La. House of Representatives.

Rick Gallot is an attorney and is the owner of the Gallot Law Office in Ruston, Louisiana. His law practice focuses on Personal Injury and Criminal Law. He was named one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by The American Trial Lawyers Association.
