Join us for our inaugural Clay Shooting Tournament at Covey Rise Lodge in Husser, just 20 minutes north of Robert. With hunting season kicking off, this is a great chance to warm up for deer, duck and quail season.
The structure of this shoot is similar to a golf scramble, only we are exchanging our clubs for shotguns. Participants shoot a round of 100 targets, in teams of four, on a beautifully laid out course. Participants provide their own gun but all other supplies―including ammo, safety glasses and ear protection―are provided. The shoot generally takes 1 1/2 hours and includes pastries for breakfast and a full lunch. There will be 14 different stations from which targets are thrown on a variety of trajectories with different angles, speeds, elevations and distances. Prizes will be awarded to the “Top Shooter” and the “Worst Shooter.”
