SBAC Seminar

Benchmarking is a powerful management tool because it overcomes "paradigm blindness." Paradigm Blindness can be summed up as the mode of thinking, "The way we do it is the best because this is the way we've always done it." Benchmarking opens organizations to new methods, ideas and tools to improve their effectiveness. It helps crack through resistance to change by demonstrating other methods of solving problems than the one currently employed, and demonstrating that they work, because they are being used by others.

Glen Runyon, presenter for the April SBAC seminar, is the founder and Managing Director of Pyramid Consulting, LLC, a Business Consulting firm.  Glen has over 20 years Management Consulting experience and 10 years business process improvement experience working for mid-size and large companies.  He is a Licensed Professional Business Coach and a member of the St. Tammany West Chamber Board of Directors.  Pyramid Consulting works with small to medium-sized businesses in both public and private sector organizations.
