Assessor Louis Fitzmorris has served as our Assessor of St. Tammany Parish since 2013. Fitzmorris proudly served as Mayor for the Town of Abita Springs for 10 years before being elected assessor and spent 19 years as a successful business owner. He grew up here in St. Tammany Parish in the small Village of Sun and is a graduate of Louisiana State University where he studied agricultural economics. He and his wife Tawnya (pronounced Tonya) have been married for 42 years, raised three children and reside in Abita Springs.
