Last year 88 million people shopped at independently-owned small businesses on Small Business Saturday. Created by American Express in 2010, the national initiative marks a day to support local businesses that create jobs, boost the economy and preserve neighborhoods around the country.

Please show your support this Saturday, November 26, and shop local businesses and dine in local restaurants that are the backbone of St. Tammany Parish! Many of our Chamber member businesses are offering special deals, discounts and promotions, so check them out here and #shopsttammany!

Show us your #shopsttammany selfie!

• Enter by taking a selfie with the owner, staff or signage at a participating store or restaurant on November 26.

• Post the selfie using #shopsttammany on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Shoppers are allowed (and encouraged!) to submit selfies in more than one location.

• One selfie will be randomly chosen to win a $50 gift card to a participating Chamber member business. Winner will be announced on Monday, November 28.
