"Tasting on the Tchefuncte" is a benefit co-hosted by the Kiwanis of Greater Covington and Northshore-Mandeville Kiwanis to support the Kiwanis International Project to eliminate maternal and childhood tetanus worldwide, summer camp programs through the West St. Tammany YMCA and Faith Bible Church, summer programs through the Covington Unit of the Boys & Girls Club of Southeast LA, and to support the James Storehouse, addressing
 the needs of foster care children on the northshore.  Music will be provided by Southeastern University's own "Impaired Faculties" and by the "Jason Dorcey Band." Patrons will enjoy delicious southeastern Louisiana food, as well as, wine and beer (including a wide selection of St. Arnold microbrewery beers).
