About Us

The Columbia Theatre for the Performing Arts, which is owned and operated by Southeastern LouisianaUniversity, is an historic theatre (circa 1928) that was completely renovated and reopened its doorsin 2002. The theatre presents a diverse mix of cultural events year-round, including its anchor October festival, Fanfare, and provides area residents with a grand and elegant setting for entertainment. The renovated theatre boasts an 850-seat performance hall, conference area, administrative offices and sophisticated technical capabilities.
