Mandeville, LA – Carson’s Table, located at 690 Lafitte St., brings elevated Louisiana cuisine to the Mandeville Trailhead—where woodsy charm, home-style comfort, and fine dining come together across two uniquely crafted spaces: relaxed downstairs, refined upstairs. The newest Northshore culinary destination will have its grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, May 26, at 11:30 AM, marking the official opening and offering locals and visitors a unique blend of scratch-made Southern favorites, chef-driven pastas, fresh seafood, and expertly butchered steaks.
 
Founded by Carson Wandell, who has over 20 years of kitchen leadership and Louisiana-based culinary experience, the restaurant combines home-style comfort with elevated presentation. Signature offerings include Southern smothered and deep-fried dishes, wine tasting dinners, and daily specials crafted from locally sourced ingredients.
 
The restaurant will host its official grand opening in collaboration with the St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, May 26th, beginning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11:30 AM. A few hours later, from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM, guests can enjoy a happy hour-style experience downstairs with a live band, casual seating around whiskey barrel tables, and pass-around samples of menu favorites. Upstairs, the 13-table fine dining room and seven-table balcony provide a more formal setting for full dinners with friends and family.
 
“Every dish at Carson’s Table reflects my passion for quality ingredients and scratch-made cooking,” said owner and head chef Carson Wandell. “We want our guests to feel at home while enjoying elevated Louisiana flavors and a dining experience that’s both relaxed and refined.”
 
At Carson’s Table, every dish reflects true culinary craft, from scratch-made creations and in-house butchery to locally sourced ingredients. The fine dining menu features starters, soups and salads, Louisiana-style entrées, handmade pasta, in-house butchered steaks, and delectable sides, complemented by 40 bottles of wine, 6 beers on tap, and 21 specialty cocktails. Some cocktails can even be crafted tableside for a personalized experience.
 
Guests can also enjoy wine tasting dinners, daily specials, hearty deep-fried favorites, local artwork on display, and future catering services.
