Covington, LA - June 21, 2024: Resource Bank is proud to announce the promotion of Jon Picou to the positions of Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) and Executive Vice President (EVP). Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jon has been a resident of Covington since 2003 and has been a valuable member of the Resource Bank team since 2015, serving as the Information Technology Director.Jon Picou Named Chief Information Technology Officer of Resource Bank
Jon's extensive background in military and information technology roles brings a wealth of experience to this new position. Before joining Resource Bank, Jon served in the United States Air Force and also worked with the Marine Corps and Coast Guard. He continues to serve as a reservist, working in Combat Communications with the Louisiana Air National Guard, holding the rank of Chief Master Sergeant/E-9. This diverse military background has equipped Jon with an exceptional skill set in assessments, strategic planning, and cybersecurity.
In addition to his military experience, Jon has earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. Further solidifying his expertise, Jon became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in 2013. His dedication to professional development and excellence in cybersecurity has been instrumental in safeguarding Resource Bank’s technological infrastructure.
