Cardiovascular disease (CVD), also known as heart disease

Cardiovascular disease (CVD), also known as heart disease, is a leading cause of death worldwide, accounting for almost a third of all deaths in 2019. CVD includes several types of heart conditions that can occur separately, or in conjunction with one another, like coronary artery disease (CAD), high blood pressure (hypertension), high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia), hypertriglyceridemia (high triglycerides), congestive heart failure, stroke, and more. Conducting research on medications and devices aimed at treating or preventing CVD is crucial to advancing medicine and improving lives around the world.

Velocity is seeking participants with conditions such as obesity, high blood pressure (hypertension), hypertriglyceridemia (high triglycerides), high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia), or type 2 diabetes for clinical trials.
