Join St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate the unique cultural arts of our community with Lieutenant Governor Jay Dardenne at the Cultural Economy luncheon sponsored by the St. Tammany Parish Tourist and Convention Commission.
Lt. Governor Dardenne also served four years as Secretary of State and fifteen years as a State Senator. During his legislative service, he chaired the Senate Finance Committee. In 2003, he was named National Republican Legislator of the Year.
You will enjoy his presentation entitled "Why Louisiana Ain't Mississippi," a lively and colorful look at Louisiana's culture, history, music and politics. Chef Jeff Hansell with Ox lot 9 will prepare tomato gazpacho, seared pork tenderloin with bourbon sweet potatoes, green beans, pecans and crispy shallots, and milk chocolate Pot de Creme.
