Every year Cultural Economy Week is celebrated at a unique luncheon hosted by our Cultural Economy Committee. This year’s luncheon will feature a cooking demonstration by special guest Chef Paul Prudhomme. A sample of his dish will be included as a part of the meal, as well as desserts prepared by the ProStart culinary programs at Fountainbleau and Mandeville High Schools.
The luncheon will also include book signings by Chef Prudhomme, local artists displaying and selling their work, music by young violinists Griffin and Riley Wiemelt, and culinary-themed items available for raffle. A special silent auction will feature a one-hour one-on-one cooking demonstration with Chef Prudhomme in his Magic Seasonings Kitchen headquarters in New Orleans.
