AAVS is looking for an experienced and adaptable Level 3 AV Technician to join their collaborative, client-focused team. This role requires strong technical skills, leadership, and flexibility to support various projects across the Gulf Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Execution: Install, troubleshoot, and maintain AV systems, with a focus on video and networking. Willingness to learn lighting and audio as needed.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams to deliver high-quality work on time.
- Client Interaction: Be the main point of contact for clients. Provide expert advice and resolve issues.
- Project Delivery: Adjust to changing project needs and schedules, including occasional weekend or after-hours work (with compensation).
- Continuous Learning: Participate in lab-based training and ongoing education to stay current with AV technologies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of AV installation experience, with strong skills in video and networking.
- Leadership skills and a track record of team accountability and integrity.
- Familiar with brands like QSC, Allen & Heath, Shure, Sennheiser, and Blackmagic Design.
- Programming experience is a plus, but not required.
- Flexible and able to work in varied environments.
