Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a company in Covington, LA. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative, accounting, and computer skills who enjoys working in a professional office environment.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Pay & Benefits

• $20-$21 per hour
• Full benefits package

Key Responsibilities

• General clerical and administrative duties
• Prepare and enter journal entries into the General Ledger
• Perform account reconciliations
• Generate and distribute monthly reports
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Communicate effectively with team members and departments

Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Combination of sitting and walking throughout the workday
