American Covers, Inc.

About Us

American Covers Inc. was founded in 1995 by Rick Fogarty as part of the initial initiative of the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO). The company moved to a permanent facility in Harvey in 2002 and that location was expanded in 2006. After Hurricane Katrina, Rick and Terri Fogarty purchased a property in Mandeville with the intention of eventually relocating the company to St. Tammany Parish. The construction of their new facility was completed in 2014. In 2019, American Covers, Inc. expanded with a larger corporate headquarters and a state-of-the-art fabric manufacturing facility. As a result of reaching capacity, a third expansion is scheduled to begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2020. Once completed, American Covers, Inc. will have the ability to meet customer demands and future growth objectives.

The vision for the company was to provide quality fabric shelters and excellent customer service to members of the Louisiana petrochemical industry. American Covers, Inc. produces fabric shelters, clearspan fabric structures, temporary warehouses, lunch tents, shipping container covers, and quarantine and treatment stations. Over the past 25 years, American Covers, Inc., has provided fabric structure solutions to plants and refineries throughout Louisiana and the entire Gulf Coast region. American Covers, Inc. is right-sized to provide custom fabric structures on demand and is large enough to have earned the trust of Fortune 500 companies. Many of our current customers have been using American Covers, Inc. products from our onset. Our success is based on our commitment to continuously invest in our people, products, and process.
