Educational nonprofit
We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting drug awareness, education, and prevention for children and preadolescents. Founded on the legacy of Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, the foundation focuses on early intervention, offering programs that educate Kindergarten through 6th-grade students about the dangers of drug, alcohol, and tobacco use. As a leader in drug prevention advocacy, Seymore’s Foundation partners with schools, communities, law enforcement, and health organizations to create a safer, healthier future for Louisiana’s youth. The Seymore D'Fair Foundation, Inc.

About Us
Our mission is to provide educators and families with the tools and resources they need to protect children from substance abuse. Through engaging, activity-based curricula, the foundation empowers young students with the knowledge to make healthy decisions and resist peer pressure. Its flagship initiative, the Wrap St. Tammany in Red campaign, is part of a nationwide movement aimed at raising awareness about drug prevention. This campaign includes activities like Red Ribbon Week, where students, teachers, and community members come together to pledge a drug-free lifestyle. The organization also offers school-based prevention strategies, including assemblies, educational materials, and hands-on activities that make learning fun and impactful.
We are renowned for our creative and community-driven approach to drug prevention, exemplified by events such as the Mayor’s Challenge, a competition that encourages mayors across St. Tammany Parish to decorate their cities in red ribbons, inspiring community unity in the fight against drugs. The foundation also supports ongoing efforts through initiatives like drug-free specialty license plates, which help fund its programs and increase visibility for our cause.
With a strong commitment to collaboration, Seymore's Foundation has become a trusted voice in both local and statewide efforts to reduce substance abuse. The foundation’s work is a testament to the power of education and community involvement in creating lasting change. Its programs not only raise awareness but also build a sense of responsibility within the next generation, ensuring a brighter, drug-free future for all.
